We can be sure that the Florida Conservation Coalition’s June 23 event at Silver Springs will be a great educational and motivational success. The organizers and speakers are focusing on the water issues important to all Floridians. Silver Springs and Silver River are perfect emblems for all that is wrong, and all that needs to be done, for this state’s extraordinary water resources.
Most importantly, the Florida Conservation Coalition helps draw together the large majority of Floridians that recognize the need for change. Water issues unify Floridians. Splitters not needed.
The FCC has done some things that I didn’t think were possible–slowing down the rampant draining and destruction of Florida’s natural waters. This is going to be an amazing event. Come one and all so we can scare the SJRWMD, Marion County, Governor Scott and the owners of Adena Ranch when they see how many came out to Save Silver Springs :}
